In verses 20-24 above, Jesus is not talking about the Second Coming. Jesus is talking about multiple days of the Son of man, a plurality of days as mentioned in verse 22. It is in verse 26 that Jesus pivots from speaking of the multiple days of the Son of man to pointing to the singular event of the Second Coming in verse 30 when Jesus is revealed from heaven. In that singular event, the Second Coming, spoken of in REV 1:7 when Jesus comes riding upon the clouds and every eye shall see, it will be like the flood of Noah in that it will wipe out everything in its path because of the great magnitude, ferocity, voracity, and rapidity of that climatic and cataclysmic exclamation point at the end of the age that will overwhelm everyone. For more on that singular event of the Second Coming, see the final chapter of this discourse. But here, let us look at what Jesus is getting at in verse 22 above when talking about “one of the days” of the Son of man. That cannot be referring to the Second Coming, which is a singular event. Certainly what we can say about one of these days Jesus is talking about is there is more than one of them. So Jesus is not talking about the Second Coming here in verses 20-24 even though Jesus will indeed come from the east to the west like lightning when He comes riding upon the clouds at the Second Coming.
So what are these days of the Son of man Jesus is talking about in verse 22 above? I submit that what Jesus is talking about is something I experienced early on in my Christian walk when I was in my early twenties (I was born in 1958) via the supernatural meditation program I will shortly describe to you. Let me preface this by saying while this represents my experience with this program of supernatural meditation, it is also my hope and prayer that many who read this discourse and partake of this supernatural meditation I speak of will also experience this phenomenon I speak of as well, which was this: after a couple of months or so of engaging in the supernatural program of meditation I will tell you of shortly, one fine day, out of the blue, in the middle of one of my meditations, during the quieting time of my soul, there it came—zap, a white flash of electricity across my eyes. It was like a pop of electricity but without any of the pain or harm associated with a shock. It was a pleasant and exhilarating experience, a sudden popping, but gentle, bathing white shock of electricity across my eyes, an experience I’ll never forget.
Now read again what Jesus is saying in LUKE 17:20-24. Jesus is saying the kingdom of God does not come with external observation, it is not something that is over there or over yonder, for the kingdom of God is within you. And it will be as the lightning which lights up the sky. I submit to you that what I experienced with this white flash of electricity across my eyes I described was the coming of the kingdom of God with me. So come one, come all, come right this way and experience the coming of the kingdom of God within you. For those who seek the kingdom of God earnestly and dare to come and follow this recipe I will now share with you, may you partake of this phenomenon as well and be zapped across your eyes with a flash of lightning, the coming of the kingdom of God within you, in Jesus name, amen.
So then, here we go, here is the program of supernatural meditation which you will want to make into a daily habit for it is refreshing and renewing and aligning. Perform the following supernatural meditation and prayers daily. The best time to meditate is after you shower or bathe, but this is not necessary, only preferable. Whatever the case, start out with about 20 or 30 minutes or so of time. This beginners program of supernatural meditation I will describe and prescribe here along with the advanced program of full time prayer I will prescribe and describe in the “Get Symbiotic with God” chapter will help keep your soul in tune with the Holy Spirit and increase your faith. So come then and be disciplined and persistent in this supernatural meditation procedure, which acts as a kind of training wheels to help kick start you along the way to walking in divine health and divine protection. To meditate, use the most comfortable position, lying flat on your back with your arms at your sides, or sitting in a chair, or whatever. I will give you the overall picture of the procedure and then go back through it in detail. What you are going to do is this: with your eyes closed and being relaxed, you’ll take a deep breath and then start concentrating with your mind’s eye, or focus, on different parts of your body, ending up with your stomach. When you get to your belly, with your words and with your faith, you are going to release supernatural healing power, the living water that flows from the throne of God, down into and out of your belly and throughout your whole body. And then after that, you are going to concentrate on harnessing, or stilling, your mind, that V for verbalizing part of your mind spoken of in the previous chapter. So after concentrating on various parts of your body, you are going to release the living water that flows from the throne of God to go down into your belly with your words of faith (your prayers) and then you are going to quiet your soul like David says in PSALM 131:2.
OK, now I will go through the supernatural meditation procedure step by step and in so doing, I will say "go to your arm", or "move up your leg", and so forth. By this, I mean with your mind's eye or concentration. You don’t have to do this exactly as I say, you can loosely follow these instructions. I’ll just give you the general idea. So then, here we go: as you are lying down on your bed or whatever position you're in, take a deep breath and then start concentrating on either leg, concentrating on your foot and then move up to the knee, then back down to the foot, and then back up to your knee again and then up and down your entire leg, and do the same with the other leg, or do them both at the same time if you can imagine it. Then do the same thing with your arms that you did with your legs, go up and down your arms with your concentration. After doing your legs and arms, concentrate a moment on your skull and entire skeleton, and your brain and entire nervous system. Now concentrate a moment on a few internal organs, your heart, your stomach, whatever you’re familiar with. Whatever the case, let the last internal organ you go to with your mind’s eye be your stomach or belly. After concentrating a few moments on a few internal organs and then after concentrating a moment on your belly, say something like the following prayer:
