The Devil is done and he knows it. The end comes now. Satan roars and rages but can stop it not.

The second WOE

image7

"But  in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to  sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his  servants the prophets."

---REVELATION 10:7

OK, here now is what you sons of God need to know about what is coming over the heavens and the earth. Here is the lay of the land in these end times we find ourselves living in. Here’s what to expect so you can brace yourself for what is coming and hold on with your faith all the way unto the end so as to be saved. Here is how the mystery of God will be accomplished by the end of the second WOE. Here is a breakdown of the timeline at the end of the age, the end of mankind as we know it.

DISCLAIMER:  What you are about to read speaks of the mystery God has declared to his servants the prophets as spoken of in REV 10:7. It speaks of  the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy. It speaks of the end times mystery of God’s plan and purpose to utterly destroy Babylon so that no one will live there anymore. What you are about to read speaks of the destruction of the Devil and the bringing forth of the everlasting kingdom of God (DAN 7:14, 7:18, REV 12:5, 22:5). What I am about to reveal to you now you have not heard before. You will not find it in any of the teachings of the various denominations and sects of Christianity. You will not find it in any teachings of any pastors or preachers or so-called prophecy teachers. But you will find it right there in the Bible, hidden in plain sight. I kid you not. If you consider what you read here with an open mind and an open Bible and nothing else, you will see the plan of God hidden in plain sight, right there in black and white in the writings of the prophets, clear as day.

Come with me now and let’s dig into the Book of Revelation and be blessed for doing so:

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."

---REVELATION 1:3

While there are 7 seals and 7 trumpets and 7 bowls in the Book of Revelation, I am going to focus on the rider on the white horse in the first seal and trumpets 5, 6, and 7, and how those trumpets impact mankind. Trumpets 5, 6, and 7 are the three WOEs that will be inflicted upon mankind. As I explained earlier, trumpet 5 is the first WOE, trumpet 6 is the second WOE, and trumpet 7 is the third WOE. The third WOE is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which I will deal with in the next and final chapter of this discourse. Here in this chapter about the mystery of God, I will focus on the first two WOEs, for it is by end of the second WOE that the mystery of God as declared to the prophets will be completed. So then, come and let us look into this mystery spoken of by the prophets and focus on the following three chapters from the Book of Revelation and be blessed for doing so:

· Chapter 9 –   In the 5th trumpet, which is the first WOE, the world is introduced to the Destroyer and the army of the LORD. The army of the LORD, led by Abaddon, or Apollyon, or the Destroyer, will inflict the first WOE upon the masses in a nightmarish scenario that will be visited upon mankind in an unprecedented event. The first WOE lasts for 5 agonizing months for those who do not belong to the LORD, for those not sealed by the Holy Spirit. For 150 days, the Destroyer and the army of the LORD will come against those who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. While no one will die during the first WOE, those on the receiving end of the torment dished out will wish they could die so great will their agony and torment be. Those on the receiving ends of the scorpion-like stings from the locust army that will come down out of the smoke that will arise from the bottomless pit in the first WOE will be in utter agony, unbearable agony, so much so that they will want to commit suicide. But lo and behold, death will flee from them. God will not allow them to die. They will be made to suffer intensely and immensely for the 150 days of agony and torment inflicted upon mankind by the Destroyer and the army of the LORD in the first WOE.

· Chapter 11 –  The 6th Trumpet and second WOE will bring the 42 month, or 1260 day, power-laden sackcloth ministry of the two witnesses of REV 11, or the two olive trees, the two anointed ones who stand before the LORD in ZECH 4. The sackcloth ministry of the two who are one will bring the great anger and wrath of God upon the nations of the earth for the 1260 days of the second WOE. This 42 month period of the two witnesses coincides with the 1260 days of authority given to the beast of Revelation with 7 heads and 10 horns, or the Antichrist, Daniel’s little horn that waxes great, who will trample down the nations of the earth. It is during the second WOE that the four angels bound at the Euphrates River will be loosed in order to kill a third of mankind. It is during the second WOE that the man clothed in linen spoken of earlier in this chapter (the one with a writer’s inkhorn) will fill both his hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and dash them against spiritual Zion/Babylon. During the second WOE, the two witnesses of REV 11, the two who are one in the original Greek text, will torment the people of earth as often as they wish with plagues of fire, smoke, and brimstone. When the 1260 day sackcloth ministry of the two witnesses is completed and they have tormented the nations of the earth, the beast that comes up from the bottomless pit (the Antichrist) will overpower and kill them. And the nations of the earth—whom the two witnesses will have tormented—will celebrate their death and not allow the two who are one to be buried. But lo and behold, three and a half days after their death, the two who are one will be resurrected and ascend into heaven. That same hour, a great earthquake will mark the completion of the second WOE. Remember, it is at the completion of the second WOE that the mystery of God will be completed (see REV 10:7 and REV 11:14-15). That mystery is this: the Destroyer of the first WOE is the chosen one of the LORD, the man child of REV 12:5, the one like a son of man in DAN 7:13, the beloved of the LORD in ISAIAH 48:14-15 who will perform the LORD’s purpose and pleasure against Babylon in the first two WOEs. He is one of the two witnesses of REV 11. And he will build the house of God in these end times we find ourselves living in. And after the third WOE, he will be made the signet ring of the Most High and inherit the nations of the earth in kingdom come. By the time you get to the end of this chapter, you will see that clearly and agree with it, because it’s right there in the Bible, hidden in plain sight.

· Chapter 12 –   It is in this most critical chapter in the Book of Revelation that we will begin unraveling the mystery of God spoken of in REV 10:7. The one the Devil sought to consume at his birth, the man child, will rule all the nations on earth in kingdom come. By the time you get to the end of this chapter, you will understand why the Devil sought to kill the man child at his birth and who the woman in the wilderness is and why I am uniquely qualified to speak to you on this most key chapter in Revelation and why I have written this discourse, my testimony. And you will know how the first half of Daniel’s 70th prophetic week has already been fulfilled, to the day, and all that remains is the final 42 months, or 1260 days, for the completion of Daniel’s 70th week and the completion of God’s secret plan the prophets spoke about. When the third WOE comes—which will come quickly right after the second WOE—Jesus will come riding upon the clouds in glory and power beyond description to consummate Daniel’s 70th week (the new covenant, the holy covenant) and usher in the eternal kingdom of God and He will hand the keys of the kingdom over to the man child who will rule and reign over all the nations of the earth in kingdom come. The man child will be made the signet ring of the LORD from that point going forward and the saints of the Most High will inherit the nations of the earth for all time to come.

OK then, let’s have a look at the end times script known as the Book of Revelation and see how the Destroyer of REV 9, the two witnesses of REV 11, and the man child of REV 12 all relate to one another, for they very much do in this mystery God spoke of to the prophets.

In chapter 2 of the Book of Revelation, Satan has a seat, or a throne, a dwelling place:

"I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth."

---REVELATION 2:13

In chapter 20 of the Book of Revelation, Satan is bound for a thousand years in the bottomless pit, unable to deceive the nations of the earth anymore:

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

---REVELATION 20:1-3

And then, after the Millennial Reign, Satan will be let loose for a short while to do the Gog and Magog thing and then, Satan will be tossed into the lake of fire and brimstone to be tormented forever and ever:

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

---REVELATION 20:10

So, between chapter 2 and chapter 20 of the Book of Revelation, between the time when Satan has a throne upon the earth and the time when he is cast into the lake of fire, where does the turning point occur in this most ancient drama between the serpent and the Most High God, where does the final and fateful downturn for the Devil occur? In chapter 12 of course. The Devil is done and he knows it. He knew it when he failed to kill the woman in the wilderness and he knew it when the man child was born, because he knows what the man child was born to do. It is in chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation that God finally took the reins of the world away from Satan. God will grant the Devil his last 42 months of authority on earth to fulfill the prophecies and complete the indignation with the abomination of desolation and then, after the third WOE, the angel with the key to the bottomless pit (Abaddon or the Destroyer) will seize that slippery serpent and lock him up in the bottomless pit and seal it over for the thousand years of the Millennial Reign. After that, the Devil will be set free for a short time to do the Gog and Magog thing and then, the warden of the bottomless pit, the star/angel with the key in REV 9:1, the Destroyer, who is also one and the same as the man child, and is one of the two witnesses, will violently kill the dragon in the heart of the seas (ISAIAH 27:1, EZEK 28:8) and toss him into the lake of fire to be tormented day and night forever and ever. That is the destiny awaiting the Devil when the man child of REV 12 fulfills the words of the prophets and the end times script known as the Book of Revelation plays out on the world stage. That is why the Devil wanted to consume the man child at his birth. Will the Devil say ‘I am God” to the one who comes to slay him? Hah!

A note is in order here about prophetic Scriptures and stars and angels and the elect. In Scripture, do stars sometimes equate to angels? Of course, such as JOB 38:7. But sometimes in Scripture, the saints(sons) of God are as stars:

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

---DANIEL 12:3

So there are times in prophecies where there is a mixture, or a hybridization you might say, between angels and men, literally and figuratively. The man child of REV 12:5 is one such example. The man child is a member of the “house of David” of course and so he will be as a godlike being in the kingdom of God, as the angel of the LORD before them (ZECH 12:8 in the Masoretic text).

Speaking of the elect man child of REV 12 and stars and angels, much of the traditional thinking and theology on the Book of Revelation has been wrong. One such misconception is in REV 12:4, where we see the dragon knock down to the earth with his tail a third of the stars of heaven:

"And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. "

---REVELATION 12:4

This verse does not speak to Satan deceiving a third of the angels as traditional thinking would have it. This verse does not speak to Satan knocking down out of heaven to earth with his tail angels of darkness. This verse speaks to the dragon knocking a third of the stars down to the earth with his tail in an act of war in heaven against God and the hosts of heaven. The stars/angels the dragon knocks down with his tail are God’s angels, not Satan’s angels. And he not only knocks them down, he stomps on them. Regarding the little horn who waxes great in the Book of Daniel (who is the dragon/beast spoken of in REV 13), the Bible says this:

“And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.”

---DANIEL 8:10

So when you read REV 12:4 in conjunction with and in harmony with DAN 8:10, you see that this is an act of war by the dragon (Satan) against the angels of God, against the hosts of heaven, casting a third of them down with his tail. It even says war breaks out in heaven in REV 12:7!

To help explain what I am saying about how traditional thinking on this has been wrong, let us suppose good angels (God’s angels) wear white hats and bad angels (Satan’s angels) wear black hats. The traditional thinking and understanding of REV 12:4 is that the dragon knocked down with his tail angels wearing black hats. I am saying that the dragon knocked down with his tail angels wearing white hats. It’s right there in the Bible, in black and white, in REV 12:4 and DAN 8:10, clear as day.

It was the birth of the man child that provoked the dragon into war against God because the Devil knew what the man child was born to do. The Devil knew he was done when he pursued the woman in the wilderness and failed to kill her. The Devil was pissed when he failed to kill the woman in the wilderness because he saw his destiny just up ahead of us and knows his time is short. When the man child fulfills his destiny and overcomes the Devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony, when the sons of God come forth and the body of Christ matures, the archangel Michael will throw the Devil out of heaven down to the earth and the Devil will get his last 42 months of authority on earth with the one commonly known as the Antichrist and then, shortly thereafter, Jesus will come riding upon the clouds and every eye shall see and Jesus will rout His enemies at the Second Coming and destroy the Antichrist with the splendor of His coming. Then the Destroyer of REV 9:11 and JER 4:7 fame will cast the Devil into the bottomless pit and seal it over for the thousand years of the Millennial Reign. During those thousand years, the man child of REV 12:5 will rule the nations of the earth with an iron rod and the law of Moses will be practiced in Jerusalem in the rebuilt temple on this current earth. And then, a short time after the initial thousand years of the kingdom of God, after the Devil is let loose to do the Gog and Magog thing, the man child, who is also Abaddon and one of the two witnesses, will slay the dragon in the sea and toss him into the lake of fire to be tormented forever and ever. And then we will get a brand new heaven and new earth and the new Jerusalem will come down out of heaven and God will come to live upon the earth with mankind from that time onward forever more in kingdom come and the Most High will make the man child of REV 12:5, the one like a son of man in DAN 7:13-14, the chosen one in Scripture represented by Zerubbabel, His signet ring forever more

Come with me now into the bowels of the Bible and see the mystery of God, the secret plan of the LORD, with your own eyes. It’s right there out in the open, hidden in plain sight. The man child in REV 12:5 who will rule all the nations of the earth with a rod of iron when kingdom comes, who was caught up to God’s throne at his birth, is the one like a son of man in DAN 7:13-14 below who is brought near unto the throne of God and who will rule all the nations of the earth and whose dominion will never ever end:

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

---DANIEL 7:13-14

The one like a son of man in DAN 7:13 above is the man child spoken of here in Revelation:

"And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."

---REVELATION 12:5

So the man child in REV 12:5 and the one like a son of man in DAN 7:13-14 are one and the same person, the chosen one who will rule all the nations of the earth with an iron rod going forward for all time to come. He will be the signet ring of the LORD forever more in kingdom come. This chosen one of DAN 7:13-14 and REV 12:5 is the stone that was cut without hands spoken of here in the Book of Daniel:

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

---DANIEL 2:34-35

The stone that was cut without hands becomes a great mountain that fills the whole earth. That is, this stone that smotes Babylon (the image in verse 34 above is Babylon) is the chosen one who will inherit all the nations of the earth in kingdom come. Further on in chapter 2 of the book of Daniel, the prophet tells us that the stone cut without hands inherits a kingdom that will stand for ever and ever:

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

---DANIEL 2:44-45

Here is the mystery of God in REV 10:7 in a nutshell: the chosen one of God (the man child in REV 12:5, the one like a son of man in DAN 7:13-14, the stone that was cut without hands in DAN 2:34) is one of the two witnesses of REV 11, specifically, the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel in ZECH 4 who shall build the house of God in the end times. And he shall also smote Babylon in the end times and then become a great mountain and fill the whole earth in kingdom come and the saints of God shall inherit the nations of the earth for all time to come. And that, ladies and gentlemen—when the saints of God receive the kingdom forever and ever—is the end of the matter spoken of to the prophet Daniel. The chosen one of the LORD (represented by Zerubbabel in Scripture), who will build the house of the Lord in the end times, is the one the LORD loves who shall smote Babylon in the first two WOES of REV 8:13 and inherit all the nations of this present earth for the thousand years of the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ and then, he will inherit all the nations of the very, very, very vast new earth in kingdom come, when the new Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and God comes to live with mankind upon the new earth at that time and all time thereafter.

To get an idea of the vastness of the new earth in kingdom come, consider the following from the Book of Revelation and the Book of Ezekiel: from chapter 40 onward, Ezekiel is given a vision of Israel in the new earth in kingdom come. You can tell that it is the new earth by matching up the description of the river of life and tree of life in EZEK 47:12 and REV 22:2. The kingdom of God on earth begins at the beginning of the Millennial Reign, but it doesn’t come in all its fullness and glory until we get a new heaven and a vast new earth, when the new Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and God comes to live with mankind on the new earth in kingdom come (EZEK 48:35, REV 21:3).

The vast new earth we will get a little over a thousand years from now (after the Millennial Reign, after the Devil is done away with, after the law of Moses is done away with) will be an exact duplicate geographically of our current earth except that the new earth will be much, much, much bigger because of what is coming down out of heaven to the new earth. What is going to come down out of heaven to the new earth is that giant most holy of holies known as the new Jerusalem, the city built by God. Our maps of today will be accurate except for the scale and with the exception that mount Everest will not be the highest peak, for the mountain of the house of the Most high shall be chief amongst the mountains of the earth and all the nations of the new earth will flow into it:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

—Isaiah 2:2

In a minute, I’ll show you a map of Israel in the new earth in kingdom come, but to give you an idea of the scale of the new earth to come, consider that the new Jerusalem as spoken of by John the Revelator is about 1,500 miles square, and the prophet Ezekiel describes a square plot of land called “THE LORD IS THERE”. That square plot of land spoken of in EZEK 48:30-35 is the new Jerusalem the Apostle John spoke of in REV 21

In his vision of the new earth, Ezekiel gives us proportional measurements between the new Jerusalem and the rest of the sacred portion of land partitioned off for the LORD amongst the land allotted to the twelve tribes of Israel in the new earth. Ezekiel describes how the land of Israel will be divvied up for each of the twelve tribes of Israel and in the middle of the allotments of land, south of Judah’s allotment, there shall be, proportionally speaking, a 25,000 square cubit allotment of land reserved as a sacred portion of land dedicated to the LORD. This square, sacred partition of land consists of three rectangular areas each adjacent to one another and north to south of one another and together, form a square. Using Ezekiel’s proportional measurements, the northern-most rectangular area of the land dedicated to the LORD will be 25,000 cubits long west to east and 10,000 cubits wide north to south and will be reserved for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok and the sanctuary of the Most High will be smack dab in the middle of this northern-most rectangular area. In the sanctuary or temple of the LORD, morning by morning, for all time to come, a perfect one year old lamb without any defect will be offered up to the LORD. This spotless lamb that will be offered up every morning will be an eternal daily reminder to the sons of God of the salvation that is ours through the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The middle rectangular area (adjacent and south to the rectangular area containing the sanctuary of the LORD) of the sacred partition of land set aside for the LORD will measure 25,000 cubits long west to east and 10,000 cubits wide north to south and will be reserved for the Levites. The southern-most rectangular area will be 25,000 cubits long west to east and 5,000 cubits wide north to south. And smack dab in the middle of this southern-most rectangular area will be the square city of the new Jerusalem which, in Ezekiel’s proportionality, is 4,500 square cubits. Around the new Jerusalem in this southern-most rectangular portion of the sacred land will be farm land reserved for the workers of the city who will come from all the tribes of Israel. So these three rectangular areas make up a square area that is the sacred allotment of land dedicated to the LORD, land holy unto the LORD, which is, proportionally speaking, 25,000 square cubits. And to the east and west of the sacred partition of land dedicated to the LORD will be land belonging to the prince in the Book of Ezekiel who yes, is the man child of REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, the stone cut without hands in DAN 2. Here is a map of Israel in the new earth as described by the prophet Ezekiel with the special sacred square section of land set aside for the LORD amongst the land partitioned off for the twelve tribes of Israel:

image8

In Ezekiel’s proportionality, the sacred portion of the land dedicated to the LORD is 25,000 square cubits. It is this square parcel of land in the map above that looks like this:

image9

The little dot you see in the middle of the top rectangle is where Ezekiel’s temple will be and the little square you see in the middle of the bottom rectangular area is the new Jerusalem (where God will live with mankind on earth forever) and is 4,500 square cubits in Ezekiel’s proportionality. So then, if you call the new Jerusalem a literal 12,000 furlongs (or about 1500 miles) in length and width as John the Revelator does, and you use Ezekiel’s proportionality and do the math, then that makes the sacred portion of the land dedicated to the LORD over 8,000 miles square. And that makes the new earth to come in kingdom come very, very, very large indeed. And it makes the land allotment to the prince, which borders the east and west side of the square section of land dedicated to the LORD, very, very large indeed. But hey, we’re talking about kingdom come after all. When it comes to the kingdom of Israel throughout this earth’s history to this point, the reign of Solomon is the “gold standard” so to speak and rightfully so. But, that is only until the time of the latter house. As Jesus alluded to, in kingdom come, the glory of the latter house shall be greater than that of the former house. Yes, Solomon had unparalleled riches and the temple was at its most glorious in all of history up until now, but in kingdom come, we’re talking about the chosen one in the Bible, the elect man child of REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, the stone cut without human hands in DAN 2 who will smote Babylon at the end of the age and become a great mountain that fills the whole earth in kingdom come. He will rule all the nations of this current earth for the thousand years of the Millennial Reign and then after that, he will rule forever all the nations of the vast new earth in kingdom come. And he, along with his descendants, will possess the land to the east and west of the sacred area dedicated to the LORD in the new earth in kingdom come. This chosen one, who is represented by Zerubbabel in the Scriptures, is the most blessed one forever in verse 6 below:

1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

7 For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

---PSALM 21:1-7

The glory of the latter house shall indeed be greater than the glory of the former house. The LORD will do all that He has promised and all that He pleases. The LORD shall yet choose Jerusalem. He will appear in His glory and build up Zion.

So the temple will be built again in the Jerusalem of this earth for the thousand years of the Millennial Reign and the law of Moses will be practiced in Jerusalem during that time. And then, after that, after this current earth and heaven are done away with, we will get a brand new heaven and earth and God will come down out of heaven to live with mankind upon the gigantic new earth in kingdom come. At that time, the sanctuary of the LORD will no longer be in Jerusalem but will be to the north of the city proper of the new Jerusalem, in the northern-most rectangular section as described by the prophet Ezekiel. And the rules and regulations of the sanctuary will be as described by Ezekiel and it will be so forever more. And the chosen one of the LORD, the one represented by Zerubbabel in Scripture (one of the two olive trees who stand before the LORD in ZECH 4), will inherit all the nations of the new earth in kingdom come and be the signet ring of the LORD for all time to come.

NOTE: The new earth will be populated by immortals (house of David) and by mortals (ISAIAH 65:17-20 and ZECH 8:3-5).

When the new Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and God comes to live with mankind upon the new earth, the river of water of life, clear as crystal, will proceed out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the new Jerusalem. Half of the living waters will flow from the new Jerusalem into the Mediterranean Sea and half will flow into the Dead sea (ZECH 14:8). And living water will flow from Ezekiel’s temple into the Dead Sea (EZEK 47:1-12). Also at that time, the tree of life will line each side of the river of life and will bear fruit each and every month and will be used for the healing of the nations (EZEK 47:12, REV 22:2). And the sons of God, those who serve the Most High and the Lamb, will see the face of Jesus and His name shall be on their foreheads and they will rule and reign with Jesus in the new Jerusalem for all time to come:

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

—Revelation 22:1-5

At that time, the bounty of the nations will flow into the new Jerusalem:

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

—Revelation 21:23-26

And the saints of most High will reign forever and ever:

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

—Daniel 7:18

The chosen one in Scripture who will inherit all the nations of the earth in kingdom come, the man child in REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, the stone cut without human hands in DAN 2 who will smote Babylon and become a great mountain that fills the whole earth, will fulfill many prophecies spoken of in Scripture and by the end of the second WOE, he will complete God’s mysterious plan and fulfill God’s purpose for Babylon in the end times. Let us now see how that will come about in this mystery the Hebrew prophets spoke about.

The second WOE consists of the 1260 day power-laden sackcloth ministry of the two witnesses of REV 11. The two witnesses of REV 11 are the two olive trees, or the two anointed ones, who stand by the LORD of the whole earth. Their 42 month sackcloth ministry in which they have the power to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want, coincides with the 42 months of authority and power given to the beast of REV 13, or the one commonly known as the Antichrist, or Daniel’s little horn that waxes great. At the end of those 1260 days or 42 months (which is the last half of Daniel’s 70th week), the Antichrist will finally break the power of the two witnesses and kill the two who are one. The nations of the earth will celebrate the death of the two witnesses because they will have tormented mankind. But the celebrating will only last three and a half days, for the two who are one will then be resurrected and rise into heaven as their enemies look on in fear. That same hour, there will be a great earthquake that will complete the second WOE. It is right at that point, after the second WOE, that the mystery of God will be completed. For REV 10:7 tells us that when the 7th angel is ready to blow his trumpet, the mystery of God as declared to the prophets will be completed. And as you can see in the following sequence, the 7th trumpet (which is the third WOE, the Second Coming) gets blown right after the completion of the second WOE:

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woeis past; and, behold, the third woecometh quickly.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

—Revelation 11:1-15

So it is right after the death and resurrection of the two witnesses of REV 11 that the mystery of God will be finished. So the question is, the mystery is, who are the two witnesses of REV 11, who are the two anointed ones who stand before the LORD, who are two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side in ZECH 4:11

The importance of the two anointed ones or two olive trees who stand before the LORD cannot be overemphasized in God’s end time plan and in kingdom come. When the law of Moses and this earth passes away a little over a thousand years from now, we will get a new heaven and a new earth and the rules and regulations of the sanctuary of the LORD in the new earth in kingdom come will be as spoken of by the prophet Ezekiel. And at that time, when the temple of Ezekiel kicks in, gone from the temple furnishings in God’s ceremonial temple on earth will be the laver filled with water, the table of shewbread, the lampstand, the golden altar of incense, the veil, and the ark of the covenant. All of those temple furnishings from previous temples on this earth will be gone in Ezekiel’s temple on the new earth in kingdom come. However, there will be two temple furnishings in Ezekiel’s temple in kingdom come that will remain from previous temples upon this earth, and that is, two much overlooked temple furnishings, the two pillars to the right and to the left of the entrance into the holy place. In Solomon’s temple, at the entrance to the holy place, there were two pillars, one called Boaz and the other called Jachin. Boaz means “in him is strength” and Jachin means “he establishes”. These two pillars represent the two olive trees who stand before the LORD in ZECH 4, the two anointed ones, the two witnesses of REV 11. The two of them are both kings and priests, but one of them (the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel) will take the lead in the kingship role and the other (the olive tree represented by Joshua) will take the lead in the priestly role in kingdom come when the two of them will work hand-in-glove in perfect harmony as spoken of in ZECH 6:12-13 in the Masoretic text. But first, in the end times, the two of them will work together hand-in-glove to build the house of God and to torment the nations of the earth in the first two WOEs on the day of the LORD.

The chosen one, the man child of REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, the stone cut without human hands who smotes Babylon and becomes a great mountain that fills the whole earth in kingdom come as spoken of in Daniel’s prophecies, is key to these prophecies I speak of in the end times, and he is key in surprising ways, like this: he is one of the two witnesses in REV 11, one of the two olive trees in ZECH 4, specifically, he is the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel. After God vents His anger and spends His wrath upon the heavens and the earth in the day of the LORD, that is, after the three WOEs of REV 8:13 are over, Zerubbabel will be made the signet ring of the LORD in kingdom come. Through the prophet Haggai, God says He will shake the heavens and the earth and says this about Zerubbabel:

21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

23 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.

—Haggai 2:21-23

Being the signet ring of the Most High basically means Zerubbabel can do whatever he wants, for God will grant him all authority over all the nations of the earth in kingdom come, all the nations of the earth will belong to him and he will rule them with an iron rod (PSALM 2:9, REV 2:27, REV 12:5). But first, before kingdom comes, the chosen one represented by Zerubbabel in Scripture, the chosen one of REV 12 and DAN 7, has a part to play in the end times before and during the first two WOEs. Let’s now see what that role is.

When you talk about who the two witnesses in REV 11 are, you must talk about the two olive trees spoken of in the Book of Zechariah. The two olive trees are the two anointed ones that stand by the LORD of the whole earth. One of the two olive trees is represented by Zerubbabel, who is the man child of REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, and the stone that was cut without human hands in DAN 2. The olive tree represented by Zerubbabel will do some amazing things in the end times. And it is by the end of the second WOE that his mission against Babylon will be completed and God’s mystery will be completed.

Jesus was not speaking in hyperbole when He said you can speak to a mountain and it will move. Jesus was not speaking in hyperbole when He said you can tell a tree to go from here to there. In the great end time harvest, Zerubbabel will build the house of the LORD—that is, the houses of clay in which the Holy Spirit dwells, or the “body of Christ” on earth. He will also restore and build Jerusalem and the physical temple in Jerusalem on this present earth for the Millennial Reign. He is the man named the “Shoot” in ZECH 3:8, 6:12-13 in the Masoretic text who will shoot up out of his place and build the house of the LORD. He will be a witness to the world that the words of Jesus are true and can be trusted. He will speak to a mountain and it will move. He will speak to trees and move them from here to there. The eyes of the Most High, the seven eyes of the Lord which run to and fro through the whole earth, will look with joy upon the plummet of the house of the Lord in the hand of Zerubbabel:

6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.

10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

—Zechariah 4:6-14

The olive tree represented by Zerubbabel is the one referred to as the “Branch” in the following Scripture and he will work in harmony and in concert with the other olive tree who stands before the LORD in verse 13 below:

12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:

13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

—Zechariah 6:12-13

NOTE: The priest in verse 13 is separate from the man called the Branch. You can see this more clearly in the Masoretic text. Also in the Masoretic text, instead of being called the “Branch”, he is called the “Shoot”, for he will shoot up out of his place and build the temple of the LORD.

In the above Scripture, the man called the Branch (or the Shoot in the Masoretic text) is the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel and the priest before his throne in verse 13 above is the other olive tree, the one represented by Joshua, and the council of peace will be between them both in kingdom come.

Let us pause a moment and recap where we are in the unraveling of the mystery of God: the two olive trees who stand before the LORD in ZECH 4, the two witnesses of REV 11, will work together hand-in-glove in the end times and in kingdom come. The chosen one, the man child in REV 12, the one like a son of man in DAN 7, is one of the two witnesses, or one of the two olive trees who stand before the LORD, specifically, the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel. Zerubbabel has laid the foundation of the house of the LORD and his hands shall also finish building it. And the seven eyes of the LORD that run to and fro rejoice now that the plummet for building the house of God is in the hand of Zerubbabel. More on that later. For now, let us look at the other olive tree spoken of by the prophet Zechariah. The other olive tree is represented by Joshua, who is representative of someone that you know of. As we see the clues the prophet Zechariah gives us, it will become obvious who the olive tree represented by Joshua is. Concerning the olive tree represented by Joshua, the prophet Zechariah said this:

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

—Zechariah 3:3-5

The picture painted here is someone who bore sin and was clothed with filthy garments and the filthy garments (sin) were removed from him and clean garments were given to him, and a mitre was put upon his head. So he’s someone who bore sin, and the sin was removed from him, and a mitre was put upon his head like a high priest would wear. Hmmm, sound like anyone you Christians know? Zechariah also said this about the olive tree represented by Joshua:

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

—Zechariah 3:9

Hmmm, the iniquity of the land is removed in one day—does that ring a bell? That’s right, we’re talking Calvary! We’re talking the cross! The olive tree represented by Joshua is none other than Jesus. After all, Messiah, or Christ, means “anointed one”, and the two olive trees are the two anointed ones that stand before the LORD of the whole earth

The two witnesses in REV 11 are referred to as witnesses of course and as prophets. Jesus is called a witness in Scripture in several places:

I am one that bear witnessof myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

—John 8:18

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

—John 18:37

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness

—Revelation 1:5

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness

—Revelation 3:14

And Jesus is also called a prophet in Scripture:

And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

—Matthew 21:11

The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

—Deuteronomy 18:15

In REV 11, it tells us that the two witnesses will die in spiritual Sodom and Egypt (which is Jerusalem) and resurrect from there three days later:

—Revelation 11:8-11

Hmmm, know of anyone else who died in Jerusalem and was resurrected three days later? Jesus of course. Even so, some may ask: given what it says in verse 8 above about the “dead bodies” of the two witnesses lying dead in the great city where also Jesus was crucified, how then can Jesus be one of the two witnesses?

Here is how: all the conventional thinking and understanding of the two witnesses or two olive trees in REV 11 has been wrong. For it is taught that they are two prophets upon the earth during the end times. They do so because concerning the two witnesses, it says in REV 11:8 (see above) in our modern translations of the Book of Revelation that their “dead bodies”, bodies plural, will lie in the street. But lo and behold, a curious thing about REV 11:8 in the  oldest and original Greek texts A, B, and C, and in the Coptic text. Instead of saying "dead bodies" plural, they all read the singular “dead body”, or “corpse”. In the  original Greek text of John the Revelator’s original writing, the two witnesses in REV 11:8 are considered as one.

NOTE: Even in our modern translations of REV 11:5, it says if anyone tries to harm the two witnesses, fire proceeds out of their “mouth”, not mouths plural.

So in the oldest and original manuscripts of the Book of Revelation, it speaks of a single corpse lying in the street for 3 ½ days. The two are considered as one in John the Revelator’s original writing. So when REV 11 plays out on the world stage, the two witnesses will consist of one witness upon earth, the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel, and one witness in heaven, the olive tree represented by Joshua (Jesus). That is, when REV 11 plays out on the world stage, the nations of the earth will only see one person upon earth, the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel. The two witnesses will be embodied in one person upon the earth during the end times in the 1260 days of the second WOE. Within the physical body of the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel on earth in the end times will be the olive tree represented by Joshua, who is Jesus. They are truly two who are one. Jesus dwells on the inside of the olive tree represented by Zerubbabel. But that is not unique to him. For is not the great secret of Christianity this: Jesus dwells on the inside of all who believe? Do not all true believers have the witness of Jesus within themselves? Indeed! Immanuel!

As to why would modern translators change the original Greek text in REV 11:8 to refer to two bodies or corpses instead of one body or corpse, I suppose they were relying on what made sense to them. But in so doing, they do not let the Scriptures speak for themselves and they corrupt the original writing of John the Revelator. It is similar to what happened in MATT 24:28 where the King James version says “eagles” but some modern translators opted for vultures instead of eagles because vultures makes more sense to them because of course in nature, vultures—not eagles—gather around carcasses. And so they corrupt the original meaning and intent of what Jesus said by changing eagles to vultures. A similar thing happened here in REV 11:8 (and also in the first occurrence in verse 9 though not in the second occurrence) where the translators of the Book of Revelation probably did what made sense to them but nevertheless, they have corrupted what John the Revelator originally wrote and intended to convey. The two being one meshes so seamlessly and harmoniously with the rest of the Bible that the translators should have just let the Scriptures speak for themselves and left the original words and intent intact and gone with the singular “corpse” or "body", especially given the warnings in REV 22:18-19
